Høstmandens arbejde er slut.
Stubbene venter på ploven
for igen at vende tilbage
som det nye års korn
for atter at vente på høstmanden.
Mr. Harvesters job is finished.
The stubles waiting for the plow
to again return
as the new years grain
in order to wait for Mr. Harvester.
Ah this brings back memories of growing up on a farm with my brothers. This is a lovely image of stubble waiting to be ploughed back into the earth. I love the rich cream colour AND THe brittle sense of the stalks. I can smell the drynes of the field. Thank you for this image.
SvarSletJulie - Also I remember when I as a child running through the stubble, crawled up on the stack og straw and jumped down.
